EXCITEMENT is in the air as the inaugural Youth Olympic Flame travels from Greece to Berlin, Dakar, Mexico City, Seoul and Auckland between 24 July and 4 August 2010, as a prelude to the first Youth Olympic Games (YOG) to be held in Singapore in August 2010.
At each city, the Flame would travel to iconic sights before ending the day with the Journey of the Youth Olympic Flame City Celebration where the people of the city and continent will join in the festivities revolving around the Olympic values of excellence, friendship, respect. They will also be treated to vivid and vibrant music and dance performances by Singapore artistes at the city celebrations.
