Those wishing to study, work or travel in Singapore need to apply for visas and visit passes.

The kind of visit pass to apply for depends on the length and purpose of stay. And the residents of some countries are exempted from visa requirements.

See the Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority website for more information on passes and visa applications for travellers, professionals and students.

See the Ministry of Manpower website for further information on passes for those wishing to work in Singapore.

Refer to the Work section of What to Do for more on working in Singapore.
