Singapore Sports Hub

The development of Singapore’s premier sports centre for land and sea sports is in progress. The Singapore Sports Hub will offer integrated world-class sports facilities that will draw international sporting as well as entertainment and lifestyle events.

Among the highlights of the 35-ha site are a 55,000-capacity National Stadium with a retractable roof; a 6,000-capacity indoor Aquatic Centre that meets world tournament standards; and a 3,000-capacity multi-purpose arena with a flexible layout.

The Sports Hub will be located in Kallang, next to the Marina Bay area. Twenty cricket matches and an ASEAN club football league are set to be held there, while the track is slated to host at least two international races such as the A1 Grand Prix or World Touring Car Championship.

Leading up to the launch of the Sports Hub, the new floating stage at Marina Bay will host sporting and other events. Literally floating on the water, the stage will bring some of the highest-profile international events to Asia, while showcasing outstanding local talent and regional competitions.
