Scholarships

ScholarshipsThe Singapore Government and several local educational institutions offer scholarships for both Singaporean and international students.

At the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University and Singapore Management University, a host of scholarships is available to all their undergraduates in various fields of study.

Some scholarships are offered for the purpose of goodwill and exchange. The prestigious ASEAN Scholarship for secondary and pre-university students, for example, is offered only to students from ASEAN countries except Singapore. Other similarly focussed programmes include the A*Star India Youth Scholarships and Hong Kong Scholarships.

See Ministry of Education for a comprehensive list of scholarship programmes. Or check out BrightSparks, a scholarship, higher education and careers portal.
